Tatjana Greiner is the founder of The WestSide Story Contest. She knows from experience how tough it is to keep a deadline, and how much harder it is to keep writing (and finishing a piece) without one. As the publisher and editor of the former online literary magazine The Lady in the Lake, she believes in continuous exposure within a writing community for writers to hone their craft. Tatjana is a published novelist, holds a Master of Professional Writing in Cinema/Drama from USC, and a B.A. summa cum laude in English, Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.

A member of the Artistic Committee at First Stage Theater, Hollywood, she has read and discussed countless manuscripts and plays during the selection process of festivals and events. She has worked closely with many writers as a dramaturge and director and helped a number of plays come to fruition in workshop productions.

Tatjana has been hired as dramaturge and writer of the documentary production "Skywatchers, Shamans, and Kings" for PBS, currently in pre-production.

Her first novel, "Spring, Baby!" was published by Rowohlt Verlag, Germany, in June 2005. A special second edition was published in 2006.

Recently, she's worked as a story consultant for FAN-DEMANIUM, a documentary on soccer fans directed by Matthias Visser and produced by Michelle Sy. It won the Audience Award at 11mm, a film festival in Berlin and is being represented by ICM, Los Angeles.

She is currently working on her second novel.
